Safety and Riding Disclaimer
Last updated: June 23, 2026
Stelvio helps riders plan motorcycle routes, preview rides, save routes, record ride activity, and explore rider community features. It does not replace rider judgement, traffic laws, road signs, official warnings, or local regulations.
Motorcycle Risk
Motorcycle riding involves serious risk, including injury, death, property damage, changing weather, road closures, traffic, surface hazards, wildlife, poor visibility, mechanical failure, and rider error.
You are responsible for choosing whether a route, road, speed, maneuver, stop, or ride plan is safe and legal for your motorcycle, skill level, passengers, equipment, and local conditions.
Routes and Ride Information
Routes, previews, distances, timings, elevation, waypoints, GPX files, map display, ride summaries, and community route context may be inaccurate, outdated, incomplete, or unsuitable.
Do not follow a suggested route if it conflicts with road signs, closures, emergency instructions, traffic law, official guidance, or safe riding judgement.
No Racing or Unsafe Riding
Stelvio is designed for touring, discovery, route planning, ride memories, clubs, and road appreciation. Do not use Stelvio to race, speed, perform dangerous stunts, compete unsafely, harass other road users, or encourage illegal riding.
Safe App Use
Do not interact with the app while riding unless it is legal and safe. Stop in a safe place before creating routes, changing ride plans, importing or exporting GPX files, reviewing reports, responding to comments, or sharing ride content.
Not an Emergency Service
Stelvio is not an emergency service and is not a substitute for emergency assistance, official road closure information, weather alerts, police instructions, medical help, roadside assistance, or local authority guidance.
Report Safety Concerns
If you see unsafe content or a community issue inside Stelvio, use in-app report tools where available or contact support@stelvioapp.com.
For immediate danger or emergency help, contact local emergency services.
