Stelvio is a motorcycle social and route-planning app for riders who want to discover scenic roads, plan rides, save routes, build a rider profile, manage a garage, explore clubs, and collect road badges.
This Privacy Policy explains what information Stelvio may handle, how it is used, and how users can request support or account deletion.
Information Stelvio Handles
Depending on the features you use, Stelvio may handle:
- route planning information, including start points, destinations, waypoints, route style, and saved route details;
- location information used for maps, route planning, route display, route guidance, and ride-related app functionality;
- profile information that you choose to add, such as rider name, city, bio, motorcycle garage details, and riding preferences;
- garage information, such as motorcycle brand, model, category, year, nickname, and locally selected motorcycle photos;
- ride activity information, such as saved routes, ride summaries, distance, time, route style, and badges;
- club-related information, such as joined clubs or local club preferences;
- GPX files that you import or export;
- support messages or account deletion requests that you send to us.
Location Data
Stelvio may use precise location data to provide app functionality such as maps, route planning, route display, route guidance, and ride-related features.
Location data is not linked to the user for tracking or advertising purposes.
Location data is not used for third-party advertising or tracking. Location information may be processed by map and routing service providers when needed to calculate routes, display maps, or provide route-related functionality.
Routes and Location Privacy
Routes, ride activity, and GPX files can reveal sensitive places such as home areas, regular stops, travel plans, or riding patterns. Treat saved routes and imported GPX files as personal location information.
Stelvio is designed to give riders control over their route and profile information. Public route publishing and broader sharing features should use clear visibility controls when introduced.
Garage Photos
Motorcycle photos selected in Garage are stored locally on your device in the current app version. Stelvio does not upload those garage photos to cloud storage unless a future upload or sync feature is clearly introduced and disclosed.
User Profiles, Garage, Clubs, and Badges
Stelvio lets you build a rider profile, manage motorcycles in your garage, view ride activity, explore clubs, and collect badges. Some profile, garage, club, badge, and route information may be stored locally on your device or, when account/sync features are used, associated with your Stelvio account.
Third-Party Services
Stelvio may use third-party services to provide core app functionality, including:
- map display;
- route calculation;
- routing provider services;
- authentication, database, or app infrastructure services;
- app distribution and platform services.
These providers may process information needed to deliver their services, such as route coordinates, location data, device information, or account identifiers, depending on the feature used.
Tracking and Advertising
Stelvio does not use precise location data for third-party advertising or tracking. Stelvio does not sell personal data to advertisers.
Data Retention and Deletion
Stelvio keeps personal information only as long as needed to provide the service, maintain security, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, prevent abuse, and maintain backups.
You can request account deletion by visiting the account deletion page or contacting support. Account deletion requests remove or detach account-linked personal data where practical. Some anonymized, aggregated, security, backup, or legally required records may remain for a limited period.
